I'm playing it safe and registering for ECE280 now since on top of my counselor recommending ECE 280, there is only one ECE 280 offering and multiple MATH 280 offerings. Took 280 last semester, ratings out of 10 (where 10 is easy 1 is hard): Project 1-Statistics program- (9/10): basically a reminder of how to program in C++, had to learn vectors though Project 2-Recursion- (6/10): Most boring project in the class, still pretty easy, some of the functions like tree traversal were hard. The most confusing thing for me in 280 was pointers and polymorphism, but I didn’t even know what pass by reference really was after 183 lol.
