Klx 230 Vs Ttr 230, I kinda wish i started on one of these, Went right into riding on a KTM 250XC and its a steep curve but hella fun. Good old TTR230, that was my first bike a few years ago and I loved that thing. I have a KLX230R and looked at getting a ttr230. Unless you need a street legal bike, I would throw out the KLX230S vs. The EFI is the biggest upgrade, but the suspension isn't lacking as poorly as the Honda in stock form. . Without knowing anything about OTD price and availability, i would be targeting CRF250F and KLX230R if you are buying a new bike. I found a good deal on a 2020 KLX 230 but it looks more like an enduro and the weight is 300 lbs, 50 lbs more than the TTR. Been looking at the TTR, CRF, and KLX. At a claimed 218 pounds (full of fuel), it’s a good 30 pounds lighter than both the fully fueled CRF230F and the TTR230.
